Let’s talk about water and PCOS.

Water is extremely good for PCOS. Especially if you have insulin resistance.

Water reduces inflammation in the body.

It helps to make the body more regular, which is helpful for PCOS as we usually have IBS as a secondary symptom.

It flushes toxins out of the body.

It lubricates the joints.

It boosts skin health and beauty.

It helps to maintain blood pressure.

It regulates body temperature.

Now, how much water should you be drinking?

Half your body weight (in lbs) in ounces. So if you weigh 150, halve that, which gives you 75. For 150 lbs you should drink 75 ounces of water.

It sounds like you’re going to p*e a lot, right? Yes. That’s the point. It flushes the toxins out of the body.

So often PCOS makes us dislike our bodies but so much still works and let’s be grateful for that.

My eyes work. I can see. I need glasses but I can see.

My ears work. I sometimes only hear what I want to but my ears work.

I have all my limbs.

I don’t need to inject insulin.

I can move about freely.

There are so many things!
