In order for dry skin brushing to be really effective, the strokes you apply must be firm and long. always towards the heart. Start with light strokes and build it up firmer as your skin gets used to it.

Toes to ankles: 15 strokes over soles and top of foot Ankles to knees: 15 strokes over front and back of leg Knees to thighs: 15 strokes over front and back of leg circular movements over thighs and buttocks
๐๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ต ๐๐ฟ๐บ:
Fingers to wrist: 15-20 strokes over front and back of hand and between fingers
Wrists to elbow: 15 - 20 strokes over front and back of arm
Elbow to shoulder: 15 - 20 strokes
Circular movements over shoulders and armpits
๐ฆ๐๐ผ๐บ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ต: Careful circular clockwise brushing
๐ก๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ธ: All around with strokes towards the heart
๐๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ธ: Long firm strokes using the handle to reach those hard to get to spots.
This whole procedure need take no longer than 3 - 5 minutes and once it becomes a habit, it is quite invigorating and enjoyable.
