One of the things we love most about a teardrop trailer is the fact that it has a kitchen galley. Simple yet very functional.

It serves as a place to be social, prepare food and allows us to stop and make a quick meal or coffee on the road.

It's where we can charge our devices or plug in our fridge.

With the 270 awning, It's our refuge from the glaring sun or the pounding rain.

It provides storage in the drawers and cubbies and acts like the trunk of a car for specially designed storage bags for dry goods. With added storage bags in the galley lid we managed to optimise every part of this Swiss army knife kitchen.

It reminds us of tiny home living where one has to be resourceful in order to maximise storage efficiency. It has to be compact and have minimalist, multifunctional, inventive space saving solutions to keep the trailer light and nimble.

But most importantly, it has to be the heart of the home. And ours is - and we love it.
