Mamello is one of South Africa’s leading economic voices, providing macroeconomic insight and analysis to the broader FirstRand Group and its clients. Her work focuses on economic policy, growth, and the structural reforms shaping the country’s future.

Beyond the private sector, Mamello has played an influential role in South Africa’s policy and development landscape, having served on President Cyril Ramaphosa’s Presidential Economic Advisory Council and the National Advisory Council on Innovation. She currently serves on the Statistics South Africa CPI Advisory Committee and holds an honours degree in Economics and Econometrics from the University of Johannesburg.
