Wunders

Set on an elevated koppie in Hermanus, surrounded by fynbos with views over the golf course and the sea beyond, this family holiday home by Ivan McCarthy Architecture & Design takes its cues from the landscape around it.

Sage green, chalky grey and soft mineral tones carry through the interiors, creating a home that feels layered, calm and deeply connected to its setting.

We loved seeing key Wunders pieces woven into the space. Our Icon Swivel Chair on the covered terrace, custom upholstered headboards and bed bases in the main room, guest room and children’s rooms, Rovetti Dining Chairs around the table and our Rockefeller Stools in a custom fabric.

It is a home made for holiday living. Natural light, mountain views, slow mornings, children’s feet on the floor, dinners around the table and whale watching from the terrace.
Moments and memories made within these walls, with Wunders pieces there to carry them through the years.

Introducing the Luna Swivel Chair and Sofa, defined by soft curves, generous proportions and sculptural form. These pieces are contemporary and bold, while still inviting you to sink in and stay a while.
