Welcome to Episode 1 of the Soet River Educational Series.

The Soet River should be a thriving natural waterway, but years of illegal dumping have left parts of it heavily polluted. In this episode, we visit one of the worst affected sections to uncover how discarded waste blocks the river, impacts local communities, and eventually finds its way into our oceans.

We also explore the City's litter trap and the work being done by Making a Change and other partners to restore this important ecosystem.
