There are moments when challenges feel too big, goals feel too far away, and success feels impossible.
Yet every achievement starts with taking one small step forward.
At MOT South Africa, we see young people choosing courage every day, speaking up, believing in themselves, building positive relationships, and overcoming obstacles they never thought they could.
This Mandela Month, let this be your reminder: growth doesn't happen because things are easy. It happens because you keep going.
đź’™ What's something you thought you couldn't do, but achieved anyway?
We officially launched our Courage to Care Global Grant project in partnership with the Rotary Club of Wynberg and international partners 🌍
Rolling out at False Bay College - Khayelitsha Campus, College of Cape Town - Gugulethu Campus, and Sibelius High School, we’re excited to bring the MOT Programme to these institutions and the positive impact it will have in our communities 💙
Here’s to helping young people choose courage over pressure, positivity over fear, and creating a warmer, safer society for all! ✨️🔦
One Walk. Many Voices. Endless Courage. đź’™
On 16 June, young people, educators, community leaders, and partners came together in the Eastern Cape for our Voices of Courage Walk, a powerful event dedicated to creating safe spaces where young people can speak openly, share their experiences, and find the courage to use their voices for positive change.
Held in commemoration of Youth Day, Voices of Courage celebrates the strength, resilience, and potential of South Africa's youth. It is a reminder that when young people are empowered to share their stories, they become catalysts for change in their schools, communities, and beyond.
The walk was more than just a journey through the streets of Burgersdrop. It was a collective commitment to listening, supporting, and standing alongside young people as they navigate life's challenges and opportunities.
Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the day a meaningful celebration of courage, hope, and community.
A big thank you to the Scatec and the Department of Health!
Together, we continue building a society where every young person feels seen, heard, and valued.
