On 5 March, Business Academy and EduServe presented a Basic Small Business Management workshop to 30 Early Childhood Development (ECD) centre owners, principals, and teachers associated with Early Start Development in Blue Downs. This was the first in a series of seven (7) workshops curated to bring about a significant shift in how ECD centres are managed. The workshop focussed on evaluating performance, the neurological patterns that produce poor results, understanding systems, resource management, and basic principles of finance. This high-energy workshop was characterised by laughter, solving real challenges, evaluating performance, lots of discussions, and a prize for one lucky ECD owner.
