Razed Modeling

To end 2025, I have officially completed the Italeri 1/48 Kamov Ka-50 as part of the buddy build with my good friend Petar over at 🙌🏼 this build was certainly not my fastest but I sure am glad to call it done, and I really am quite pleased with how it came out in the end.

I can’t wait for all the upcoming projects to tackle in 2026, and I wish you all a happy and productive new year! 🎇

And the next project on the bench is finally another Buddy Build with my mate and we’re both doing our own Kamov Helis, I’m doing the Ka-50 in 1/48 by Italeri and he’s doing the dream model 1/72 Ka-52. Can’t wait to get started and see this thing come together.

Will be entirely painted with my airbrushes.

Some glamour shots of the Corsair in some afternoon sunlight as I’m coming close to finishing the decals. Absolutely love the shape of the Corsair and couldn’t be happier with how it’s coming out so far. The included Cartograph decals are also an absolute treat to lay down.

Some more progress on the absolutely awesome Corsair. The mighty Pratt & Whitney R-2800 Double Wasp radial engine is the next stage completed in this build. Completely out of the box, with the only additional work being the wiring I added myself.

As usual, all painted using the amazing GHAD-68 Airbrush.

Next up on the bench is something I’m super excited to start🤩 the Magic Factory 1/48 F4U-1A Corsair, which I will be doing in the scheme representing aircraft number 49850 “Bayou Baby” of VMF-217.

The Corsair is one of my favorite aircraft ever made, and certainly my favorite warbird, so this should be an incredibly fun build, but unfortunately it can only begin in about a week or so when I get back home.

And since the timing seems pretty good, I may as well have this as an entry into the naval group build by

Aaaand we are back in business. After a pretty mega hiatus for various reasons, I’m back, and I’ve finished the mighty Hellenic phantom. Despite how long it took me to reach the end, I really did enjoy the build, did a brilliant job tooling this kit.

Also being a part of an awesome buddy build really did add to the fun of this one, can’t wait to do another😁
