Effective July 2018, Google's Chrome browser will mark non-HTTPS sites as 'not secure' - Search Engine Land After years of pushing for 'secure by default' web sites, Google will identify insecure sites in the Chrome browser beginning mid-Summer.

Google Chome 62 released: “Starting today, Chrome 62 will mark any HTTP page as Not Secure if the user is entering data in any kind of field, may it be a search field or a simple numeric input,” stated the report.
