This cement pool presented us with a real challenge.
Access to the backyard was only through the front door! That's 294 wheelbarrows of earth that had to be carted out through the house!
And tons of cement wheelbarrowed in.
First photo shows the space available for the 3x2.5m pool.
A slab is cast with reinforcing steel, then a cavity wall constructed to hold the poured concrete.
The inside walls are plastered, left to dry slowly and then coated.
Pavers on the top and fill it up!

Here are some before and after photos. We took out all the old tiles, cast a new slab, and fitted steel doors and windows. I am thankful to my clients that aren't afraid to use bold colours.

The long awaited "after" photos of our stunning renovation of a family home in Meadowridge, Southern Suburbs. New coats of paint, new cupboards, new bathrooms, new windows, new everything! This very old and dreary home has received the makeover of a lifetime.
