Vacancy - Bond Originator
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Bond Originator to join our dynamic team. If you have a proven track record in securing bonds, excellent client relationship skills, and a deep understanding of the mortgage industry, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities
- Source and attract new clients seeking home loan financing.
- Advise clients on various home loan products and assist them in selecting the most suitable option.
- Guide clients through the entire bond application process, from initial consultation to successful registration.
- Liaise with banks, financial institutions, and legal professionals to ensure smooth and efficient bond approvals.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, real estate agents, and other industry stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, interest rates, and regulatory changes within the bond industry.
- Achieve and exceed monthly bond origination targets.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Bond Originator or in a similar financial advisory role.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of the South African home loan market, including various bond products and lending criteria.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- A strong understanding of F**A and other relevant regulatory compliance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and own reliable transport.
- Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., NQF 5 in Financial Services) will be advantageous.
