I would like to explain something from my side.

It's not about not wanting to provide information or being unwilling to be transparent. The reality is that the families we assist often trust us with some of the most painful, personal, and difficult parts of their lives.

Many of these individuals have experienced trauma, hardship, abuse, loss, or circumstances they are not comfortable sharing publicly. Building that trust does not happen overnight. Sometimes it takes weeks or even months before a family feels safe enough to open up and allow us to walk this journey with them.

When someone trusts me with their story, their struggles, and their deepest secrets, I feel a responsibility to protect that trust. Asking them to share their personal information with people they do not know can be incredibly difficult and, in some cases, may cause them to withdraw completely from seeking help.

Just as these families trust me, I also choose to trust them. Like anyone else, there will always be people who misuse trust, and unfortunately we have experienced that too. However, we cannot allow the actions of a few to take away the dignity and privacy of those who genuinely need support.

For me, one of the most important parts of helping others is creating a safe space where people know they can reach out without fear, judgment, or exposure. Trust is not something that is given lightly—it is earned, protected, and valued.

I will always do my best to verify and evaluate every situation, while also respecting the privacy and dignity of the families who have placed their trust in me.

❤️ A PERSONAL MESSAGE ❤️

After much thought, I have decided that I am not quitting. However, I am going to take a few days to focus on my health and recovery.

The past month has been incredibly difficult. My body and health have been through more than I could have imagined, and I have come to realize that I cannot continue pouring from an empty cup.

Many people have asked why I push myself so hard. The truth is simple: I worry about the next family who needs food, the next child who needs warm clothing, and the next person who has nowhere else to turn. My heart has always been with those in need.

I have nothing to hide and have always tried to be transparent in everything I do. The reality is that I often spend more time worrying about how to get a meal to a hungry family or clothing to someone in need than I do worrying about paperwork and administration.

Helping people has never been about recognition, praise, or personal gain. It has always been about making sure someone goes to bed a little warmer, a little safer, and a little more hopeful.

Right now, my health needs some attention. Taking a few days to recover is not giving up—it's making sure that I can return stronger and continue serving the community that means so much to me.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me, prayed for me, checked in on me, and stood by me during this difficult time. Your kindness means more than words can express.

Please allow me a few days to rest, recover, and regain my strength. I promise I will be back as soon as I am able.

Good day all

This is not my normal post.

The last month was hard for me personally.
Been to hospital 3 time. Twice I was admitted and Saturday night I was taken to hospital as a "p1" due to so a serious asthma attack.

Luckily they did not have to admit me this time. But if I need to be honest I am mentally, physically and emotionally tired.
This month to so much out of me.

Yhen I feel so bad as I have so many families calling and messaging me asking if I can help them.

I have been doing so much research and homework on trying to make cheaper options to help each family with some sort of meal.

We have the following:
Bag of Love- that works out R10-R20 per family
We have the veg combo for R299 ( 14 packets in a hamper)
We have the pat it forward meal (R50- R200 per familily)
We have the animal outreach
We have the clothing collection option.

I know I am far from being 100%
But I can not kay in bed and not worry about these families.

I want to please ask if you can chalkenge your friends to each help with just R10 I am sure we can with enough help help 50 families with a meal.

Please tag, share, challenge for friends and lets see if we can make this work
