Teen Racer Morgan Jacobs Accelerates Towards the International Stage

Morgan Jacobs was supposed to take a few laps around the karting circuit, but instead fell in love.

Lap after lap, the young South African kept going, repeatedly asking for “just one more lap”. What began as a casual opportunity to try a spare kart quickly sparked a passion.

Growing up around racing, Jacobs spent much of her childhood watching her father compete. While motorsport was always part of her life, she never imagined she would one day become a racing driver herself.

That changed in early 2024 when her younger brother started karting.

“My dad bought a second kart as a spare, and one day he told me to get in and try it. The first time I got into the kart, I couldn’t get out. I just kept doing lap after lap.”
