Power Posing. Have you tried it?
A power pose is standing or sitting in a powerful and confident position, taking up as much space as possible.
The hypothesis was that your cortisol (the stress hormone) level falls, and testosterone (the dominance hormone) rises when you power pose.
It became prominent in 2012 after Amy Cuddy, PhD delivered a Ted Talk on the topic.
Even though, by 2016, no significant physiological changes were found, participants reported that they felt more confident and powerful.
Why not give Power Posing a try?
It could give you the boost you need, and it will definitely make you appear more confident if nothing else.
