It has been a busy morning for Quinton Needham in his last MotorMart VW Challenge campaign.

After qualifying the team made light work of replacing the gearbox. During the race they discovered oil leaking onto the rear wheel and not wanting to take any risks; they retired the car on Lap 4.

After living to fight another day, Quinton is looking forward to today's second race.

Quinton Needham set the sixth fastest time in Class A during today's final MotorMart VW Challenge practice session. The times are not very reflective of the true pace though due to oil on the track resulting in nightmares regarding grip.

There are a few changes that we'd like to make ahead of tomorrow morning, but we're feeling confident ahead of the qualifying session scheduled for 08:45

A few problems for Quinton Needham during this morning's first MotorMart VW Challenge practice session relating to the throttle position sensor. We're suspecting that this could have resulted in the problems that we had with grip.

P5 for the moment and a bit of work to do.
