Minke Basson het vir die Goju Ryu Okinawa Kan Dojo aan die WUKF SA Nasionale Karate kompetisie in PE (Gqeberha) deelgeneem. Die toernooi het vanaf die 28ste April tot die 3de Mei plaasgevind.

Minke het aan vier items deelgeneem en met ‘n brons medalje weggestap. Sy het teen deelnemers van lande soos Amerika, Mauritius, die Reunion eilande en Skotland meegeding. Daar was meer as ‘n 1000 deelnemers.

Rooihuiskraal Karate Dojo makes history once again!

The WUKF SA National Championships & Afro-Asia Open was home to incredible talent, hard work, and true fighting spirit this year — and Rooihuiskraal Karate Dojo proudly brought home 38 medals!

From 29 April to 3 May, our students competed against more than 1000 participants from 6 different countries. Every student represented the dojo with pride and showed what can be achieved through discipline, perseverance, and teamwork.

This achievement is about more than just medals — it represents countless hours of training, sacrifices, character building, and the courage to step onto the mat and give it your all.

We are incredibly proud of every student, coach, and parent who was part of this journey. Your hard work continues to pay off and once again proves that Rooihuiskraal Karate Dojo belongs among the best on a national level.
