BorderX 2025 Namibia BorderX short trip though the south of Namibia

The countdown has begun!

In a few days, we'll be setting off on our biggest BorderX family adventure of the year – 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐍𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐚, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐤𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐞 𝐊𝐮𝐧𝐞𝐧𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧.

The rough route is shown below, but if you've followed our travels before, you'll know that plans are often made to be changed! Some of our best memories have come from unexpected detours, recommendations from fellow travellers and places we never intended to visit.

This trip will be extra special as we're joining a group of fellow adventurers. Some faces will already be familiar to us, with three BorderX Expeditions and a BorderX Outpost joining the convoy. The rest of the group are people we haven't met before, and we're really looking forward to getting to know them around the campfire and sharing the journey together.

One of the things we enjoy most about travelling is seeing how different people camp, explore and experience the outdoors. We're especially excited to spend some time with BorderX clients, not as builder and owner, but simply as fellow campers enjoying the adventure together.

We'll be travelling with our 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐞 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 and will be sharing as much of the journey as possible along the way. There will be plenty of photos, campsite reviews, lessons learned, and of course a few stories from the road.

There will be periods where we are completely out of cell phone range and off the grid for several days at a time, so don't be surprised if things go quiet now and then. We'll catch up with updates as soon as we find signal again.
