Our Story

Offering a range of services in clinical research and related disciplines, the TCD group grew out of Triclinium Clinical Development, a Contract Research Organization founded in Johannesburg in February 2000 and now headquartered in Centurion, South Africa.

The TCD Group aims to offer clients a proposition that seamlessly completes the product development lifecycle value chain. The group’s developments include:

TCD CLINICAL DEVELOPMENT
Originally a niche African CRO focused primarily on regulatory and monitoring services, by 2013 Triclinium had evolved into a robust full-service CRO with the phased addition of in-house biometric medical advisory and research site auditing services.

TCD OUTCOMES RESEARCH (TCD-OR)
TCD OR is a late-phase Health Economics and Outcomes Research organization focused on determining the real-world value of healthcare interventions.

TCD ECLINICAL SOLUTIONS
TCD’s software development division provides cost-effective, adaptive and contextually relevant clinical trial technologies tailored for a CRO focused on the developing world.
