This will help you to avoid saying or doing something you might regret later. Second, try to see the situation from the child’s perspective. They may not be trying to be difficult, they may just not understand what you want them to do. Finally, stay calm and firm when dealing with misbehavior. Yelling or getting angry will only make the situation worse.
