Durban Drag Racers

Countless life's have been lost on our streets... and it's really sad to see guys being killed in the name of a sport we love

When will the EThekwini Municipality see this as a massive problem and allocate land for the development of a Track in Durban for our fellow dragsters & spectators to race and watch this sport in a controlled & safe environment

Remember KZN has one of the Larges amount of Car loves / Speed fanatics in the country , this will be a great opportunity for the city to build a venue which will bring in revenue and keep the guys of the streets and save many life's in the process.

Many people are saying it's a waste of time to build a track as seen on many news platforms were reports of illegal drag racing accidents are happening.
But people are not looking at the bigger picture

1. This will reduce the amount of street racing and lose of life on our roads

2. There are attractions / landmarks in Durban which are costing the city millions to manage and maintain and not bringing any worthwhile Revenue to have open any longer.

A race track / Drag strap will also be a great opportunity to bring in visitors from all over the province and country to Durban, which can host monthly events and also host weekly events in which we see happening in Capetown and Johannesburg...

Let's keep it off the streets guys and work toward getting a venue for Durban and KZN
