Over the past three days, **Aberdeenshire** in northeast Scotland has experienced a sustained period of snowfall.

Temperatures have remained consistently low enough for snow to accumulate rather than turn to sleet. Daytime highs have struggled to climb much above freezing, while overnight temperatures have stayed below **0°C**.

The snowfall hasn't been particularly heavy, but it has been persistent, resulting in a slow yet noticeable build-up across the area.

Current estimates suggest several centimetres have accumulated in places, with additional light snow still possible depending on local conditions and wind direction.

Road conditions are cold.
The snow is white.
Winter continues.

Why are they sold in **3-packs**?

* What kind of bread is it?
* Is there actually enough demand to justify the extra packaging?
* Do they also sell **6-packs** so people can make an even number of sandwiches?
* Who came up with this idea... and more importantly, who approved it?

This is one of those wonderfully dull mysteries that has completely occupied my brain.

A few years ago, I happened to catch this ant colony migrating across the sidewalk in front of my house.

After careful observation, I decided to name the ant just above the center, about one-third of the way in from the right... **Steven**.

🏡 **Help Me Update My Maple Kitchen!**

I used to absolutely love my **maple cabinets**, but after **22 years**, they're starting to show their age.

The finish has yellowed over time, and there are **dark water stains around the sink area** that I just can't ignore anymore.

I'm considering painting them, but I'm completely overwhelmed by all the options. At first I thought **black**, but now I'm second-guessing everything.

I'd love some advice—and if anyone enjoys creating AI mockups, I'd be so grateful to see a few ideas!
