A take-home from my interview with Henry Mathebula

A new year does not change your life.
You do.
As we step into this year, imagine this.
A blank canvas.
And you holding the brush.
Real change does not happen because the calendar flips.
It happens when you decide who you are becoming and then encode that identity into your thoughts, emotions, and actions.
Here is what to focus on this year.
1️⃣ Choose thoughts that align with your future instead of your fears
2️⃣ Speak to yourself with intention
3️⃣ Repeat beliefs that support who you are becoming
4️⃣ Practice gratitude as a strategy, not a sentiment
Because gratitude opens your mind to see what is already working.
And momentum grows from there.
The masterpiece of your life is not discovered.
It is painted one intentional brushstroke at a time.
Make them bold.
Make them intentional.
Make them worthy of the future you are stepping into.
And remember.
You are more than who you think you are.

Happiness isn’t something you can find outside yourself. It starts from within. 🌱
Yesterday, I posted a powerful video where Denzel Washington compares happiness to an egg hatching—if it breaks from the outside, life ends; but if it breaks from within, life begins. This is exactly how happiness works—it’s an inside job.
