Following my passion for fitness and health, I discovered that not only the body needs training but
CONFESSION TIME...😂
I'm obviously gutted at not doing the route that I set out to do - however, my intuition was louder than my ego and I decided to abort mission 20mins out from Maclear's Beacon. The elevation was next level - first Newland's stairs then Nursery Ravine. My body took a huge toll and although the mind was willing, I needed to look after my body first and foremost. 💙
I will be back to do the proper route next year - this year I created and tamed my own Beast for the last 10km's 🤣

We have walked paths together that have been challenging and dark, and paths that have been fun and full of laughter. Through all the trials and tribulations that we met, we stuck together and overcame them stronger and closer. 😘

Watching you build your own life, with Josh,Ollie and Lily has made me so proud. You have grown into such a beautiful woman, wife and mother. In a nutshell:
✅️ The racing/training porridge is DIVINE! Note to self to mix it in with my oats to keep me fuller for longer...🤰🏻
✅️ Let's talk about the Race Bar...oh.my.hat. It's the BEST thing since fruit mince pies (iykyk) 😋
✅️ The raspberry flavoured sports energy drink is sooo delish! Mixes really well with no bits left at the bottom of the bottle. Tastes like genuine raspberries and not like artificial flavouring. Kept me hydrated and the thirst at bay. ✌🏽
So far, so good! 💪🏽
On Sunday I'll be doing my longest training run to date, so will be testing out the cramp assault gel if the legs need it 🦵🏽
