Luxurious Accommodation With Breathtaking Sea And Mountain Views

1 Mountain Rd is newly completed, and represents the culmination of a dream that hosts Sanchia and Ray took five years to turn into reality. We identified this idyllic spot whilst on a motorcycle tour of South Africa in 2014, and immediately fell in love with the view, deciding there and then that this is where we would like to spend our retirement years. The vista is so special and awe inspiring, that we resolved to share it with those who would find as much pleasure in it as we do, and hence we included four B&B rooms.

1 Mountain Rd, being both our address, as well as our establishment name, is a unique boutique style B&B overlooking the village of Fish Hoek, and comprises 4 s**cious and luxuriously appointed double rooms, each with panoramic views over both Fish Hoek village as well as across False Bay as far as the Hottentots Hollands mountains. 1 Mountain Rd lends itself particularly to couples. We regret that we do not accept children under the age of 12.

Whilst we are situated very close to both the Fish Hoek shopping area and beach, due to our location high on the mountainside, it is essential for guests to have their own transport. However, there is adequate free off/semi on road parking. Access to the rooms requires guests to be able to cope with about 25 steps with their luggage. Because of this, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate physically handicapped guests.

While on our premises, all our guests are covered for any emergency medical treatment by Cape Medical Response.
