You know that awkward pause when someone asks:
“So… what do you do?” 😅

My struggle with conventional titles has lasted probably around 2 decades!

For the last few years, I’ve tried HR Consultant, Facilitator, Thought Partner, and the reply is usually, “Ah, so… like a coach?”

Even my friends, after deep chats over wine, still can’t quite explain it! (You know who you are) 🍷

The truth is, none of those titles really describe what happens when I’m in a room.

I’m not teaching, fixing, or advising.

I’m co-creating.
I’m learning to translate energy into clarity.
I’m facilitating connection and regenerative change.

📸 Over the last few months, I’ve had the joy of holding mini spaces for Creation Wines in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, 🍷🌿 Love this bunch! Can you spot some of them?

What came through when people took a moment to see each other as humans, not just roles and responsibilities? A sense of connection, clarity, calmness, and belonging.

I’m designed to respond…
to what feels alive, aligned, and reciprocal.

Noticing when my body says “yes” to a client is key -
often it’s when they already sense something needs to shift,
when they’re curious, open, and seeking relatability/connection rather than performance.

🌿 Reconnecting individuals, teams, and systems to what is life-giving, relational, and authentic is what energises me.

I love exploring what happens when connection is intentional, not forced.

It’s not some tidy equation like connection = innovation (a mechanical chain of causation). Humans and teams don’t work like that; they’re living systems, not machines.

It's more about a pattern that arises because shared understanding and trust make coordination easier. It's not “automatic” but it is natural, a by-product of relational safety.

So let's start with alignment... it's a goodie! This outcome can show up within ourselves, between team mates, or both, or to the greater ecosystem/organisation. Sometimes it draws people closer; sometimes it reveals a new path entirely.

In the spaces I hold, my focus is on what’s alive in the room - noticing, pausing, and responding without forcing. That’s where connection happens: quietly, organically, and with presence.

The outcome of a ReConnect Team Experience isn’t a slide deck or a report. It’s a shift in how people see themselves, and how they see each other. From that space, performance stops being a sprint… and starts becoming sustainable.
