Roses | New Project | Label
Before I start drawing a new label, I always take close up pictures of the subject to better understand the anatomy of what I need to paint / draw.
This helps me see how shadows change in different light.
Working from my own photos also keeps my work original, as I don’t need to use other creators images for reference or inspiration.
