Inundo means overflow. We are a model and training farm that demonstrates sustainable cultivation.

Peas thrive in our cool KZN winter weather. That’s why we’ve added two new rows of peas to our garden. The goal is simple: while we begin harvesting from our older pea plants, these little ones will still be growing strong and keeping the harvest going.

A big shoutout to Nosisi for doing a splendid job laying down God’s blanket around the peas, helping to protect and nourish the soil. And soon, Andile will be working his magic with stakes and ropes, giving the growing plants the support they need to reach their full potential.

We continue growing, learning, and preparing for a fruitful season ahead. 🌱💚

It’s been exciting to follow our small groups this year and see encouraging growth despite challenges.

In March, each group received bean, spinach, and beetroot seeds to plant. For many, it was their first time growing crops from seed rather than seedlings. The journey wasn’t without difficulties when goats, monkeys, and chickens helped themselves to some crops before they could be harvested. The biggest disappointment, however, was the beetroot, which failed to grow as expected.

These setbacks left some leaders discouraged and unsure about continuing. But when we gathered again in May, hope returned. The meeting offered practical lessons, especially on crop rotation. As leaders shared experiences and saw the thriving demonstration garden, their confidence grew.

Now our leaders are applying those lessons by rotating crops in their own Gardens of Faithfulness. We’re excited to see their gardens flourish and look forward to the harvest from the seeds they’ve faithfully planted.

After harvesting all our dry maize, the work doesn’t stop there. Instead of removing the stalks, Andile and Nosisi carefully bend them down to create a beautiful “God’s blanket” over the soil. This natural covering helps protect and nourish our garden as it rests and prepares for the next planting season.

We love seeing how every step on the farm serves a purpose. Today’s harvest becomes tomorrow’s healthy soil, reminding us that growth is a continuous journey. 🌽🌱

On May 21, we gathered with leaders at Inundo Development Farm for a meaningful day of learning, encouragement, and fellowship. 🌱✨

Our mentors, Sdu, Mbongeleni, Donna, and Mpendulo shared valuable teaching on management, with a particular focus on how we can be better stewards of the resources entrusted to us. They also taught on the importance of vegetable rotation in the Gardens of Faithfulness and how this practice contributes to healthier and more productive gardens.

What encouraged us most was the response from the leaders who attended. There was a genuine excitement in the room as people engaged with the material and discussed how they could apply what they were learning within their own small groups. Their passion for learning and their commitment to helping others grow were evident throughout the day.

It is a privilege to witness leaders who are eager to continue learning, sharing knowledge, and strengthening their communities. These gatherings remind us that lasting growth happens when people learn together, support one another, and faithfully put new ideas into practice.

We are grateful for every leader who joined us and for the opportunity to continue growing together, learning together, and building together.
