The jury captured it simply: waste is not weakness. It is an opportunity. That has always been the thinking behind Wayst — reclaimed material, considered craft, nothing wasted.

To be recognised alongside so many talented designers from across the continent is a real honour. African design is in good hands, and we are proud to be part of that conversation.

More than just an object of form, the vertical soap dish is built with function at its core.
Its upright design allows water to drain away, keeping soap dry and extending its lifespan.
