A devastating fire tore through our community, leaving 10 local families with absolutely nothing. In minutes, everything was gone.

Today, Love uMngeni and Angels Care partnered to distribute clothing, shoes, and houseware to those who lost everything.

📚 Empowering educators, strengthening schools.

Last week and this week, Love uMngeni facilitated Innovation Hubs at Isibongo Primary and Thrive Christian Academy, bringing together five educators from each school as part of our 4i Model (Investigate, Innovate, Incorporate, Invite).

Building on a month‑long investigation process (including educator questionnaires and interviews with school leaders), the Hubs gave educators space to:
• Reflect on strengths
• Map school and community assets
• Identify challenges
• Co‑create practical solutions

Priority areas chosen by educators themselves include:
• Improving school safety
• Increasing access to computer literacy
• Creating more inclusive environments for learners with learning differences and socio‑emotional vulnerabilities

Action teams and implementation plans are now in place.

Sustainable change happens when communities are empowered to shape their own future. That is what we are building, together.
