Why do the wicked prosper?

They use ungodly means such as corruption, cheating, defrauding and such to gain wealth.

God allows you to work for something for long with little or no results so that you develop patience.

He uses that patience to give you godly character. You develop spiritual weight because you continued with divine principles while they weren't giving immediate benefits.

Material wealth and popularity fame aren't the goal. The point of life is to please God. Lazarus died with nothing and pleased God. The rich man went to fire where he burned forever.

Daniel gain one promotion after another and was in the will of God the entire time. God is able to promote, but He does so in His time.

Belshazzar became king after his father Nebuchadnezzar. He was in charge, rich, honoured, respected, feared...

When he was partying one day, he disrespected God by using His holy utensils for pleasure, drinking wine from the vessels of His temple.

At that moment, a hand from God write "MENE MENE TEKEL UPARSIN" on the wall.

When interpreting, Daniel said that "TEKEL" means "You have been put on the scales to check your weight and you have been found lacking."

Through he was rich, his spiritual weight was lacking because he didn't have divine principles in his character. So God deemed him unworthy to continue ruling the kingdom. It was taken from him the same day.

So, "Why do the wicked prosper?" Is an uninformed question.

Better is to say, "How long will the wicked remain in prosperity?"

Their weight is being checked as we speak.

Allow God to give you weight while you wait.

Creation took seven days, in seven we are taking over what God created.

Indeed, in the seventh day, He rested. When it ends, we will be standing on testimonies and our souls will rest from labour (i.e. anxiety, fear, tear, pain etc).
