Moreki Development Africa has announced that it is expanding its operations to Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Moreki Development has established itself as a trusted and reliable provider of Industrial solutions in the construction and mining sectors. Our portfolio includes Refractories, Demolition, Industrial Vacuumation, and Catalyst screening.
With this expansion the companies large fleet of Vacuum trucks and Brokk machines will be available in both Zambia and the DRC where we have an established network and a deep understanding of the local market.
The successful expansion within Zambia and DRC, will enable local Smelter and processing plants to benefit from the company's extensive product range and technical expertise.

Moreki developments (Pty) Ltd South Africa Team recently achieved a rating of B-BBEE Level 1 in a recent external and independent audit to verify the company's Broad–Based Black Economic Empowerment credentials making us 1 of only two locally-based Industrial Cleaning and Refractory companies ranked at B-BBEE Level 1.

Mr François Els, Managing Director of Moreki Developments (Pty) Ltd South Africa said that it was important for the Refractory industry to play its role in the transformation of Industrial Cleaning and Refractory sectors, and the economy in general. “While B-BBEE has become a legal imperative for South African companies, we believe transformation is necessary for redressing the past economic marginalisation and that in order to the grow economy – and to contribute to the long-term sustainability of Moreki Developments (Pty) Ltd South Africa and the Refractory in general - we need meaningful participation of all its citizens,” said Mr Els.

The verification audit was conducted by Inspiredex - South-Africa’s first BEE verifications agency which pioneered the empowerment verification methodology and was actively involved in the drafting of the Codes of Good Practice. Inspiredex is a Level Two BEE contributor, a founding member of the Association of BEE Professionals and is registered with the Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors.
