✨️ A B S T R A C T I V I S M ✨

Over the past two weeks, we explored and created abstract paintings as architecture students. Using a set of five words—Containment, Isolation, Freedom, Contrast, and Rhythm—we were challenged to interpret each concept visually, guided by the idea that “the literal is death.” In other words, no direct or literal representations—only pure abstraction.

For me, this felt natural. Having worked on Libario paintings before, I’ve already spent time exploring abstraction. This project pushed me even further—to translate how a word feels in the mind, rather than how it appears to the eye.
