This week, we’re spotlighting the incredible artists in our lineup, starting with the legendary Kenny Maistry!
📻 Kenny Maistry: Host of 702 Music Saturday & Soulful Sunday (from 10 am), DJ, MC, Voiceover Artist, and TV Presenter. Kenny has been in radio for over 34 years and still loves this dynamic medium.
His career began on 25 July 1992 at Capital Radio 604. He joined Metro FM in 1997, then 947 in 2002, and returned to Metro FM to host the breakfast show in 2009. In 2013, Kenny joined Radio 702 as a weekend music presenter.
Kenny also does voice-overs, TV presenting, MC work, and DJs at old school parties, events, and activations, featuring pop, dance, RnB, Soul & House music from the 70s, 80s & 90s, as well as his specialty genre of Mafuta Jams (Kwaito).
