One reason why humans love dogs is that they don't allow the small things to weigh them down! At Humming Hour we learn from our best friends how to shake it off, and go on with our day like a beast...
LEARN THE PERFECT DOG-SHAKE IN 3 EASY STEPS:
We begin with our ears (imagine them long and floppy), and we end with our tail (once again imagination -besides your dog - is your friend in this).
1. With a gentle twist, begin shaking your neck. Imagine your ears flopping and slapping your head and face as you shake your head from side to side.
2. Keep twisting and move the twisty shake down your spine, moving through all your vertebrae and down your back to finally shaking out your long flexy tail with a flick and a flip. Let every last drop of stress shake from your spine.
3. Repeat as needed.
This shake is specifically effective when practiced daily after any stressful interaction, or after a swim or a shower to shake off the water and the tension. Always be gentle & kind, and you will deepen your practice with repitition.
