A Journey Beyond Earth, Live in Durban.

This July and August, former NASA astronaut, educator and geologist Dorothy “Dottie” Metcalf-Lindenburger is coming to South Africa to share a story that has taken her from the classroom to space.

I-Innovate is proud to partner with Living Maths and Sakhikamva to help bring this extraordinary experience to South African learners, educators and families.

Dottie’s visit is more than an opportunity to meet an American astronaut. It is a chance for young people to hear firsthand what it takes to turn curiosity into discovery, work as part of a team in space and imagine futures that may once have felt out of reach.

The Durban programme will include school talks reaching thousands of learners, including a dedicated event for 250 underserved students, followed by a large public experience at Maris Stella School for Girls on Sunday, 2 August.

Expect inspiring stories, space-themed fun, exciting prizes and a dress-up competition for young space enthusiasts.

Over 7 million students take part in the international Kangaroo Competition world wide. This is your chance to see how you fare against some of the best students out there. Papers available for 1st Class up to 6th Year. Only 80 Euros for your whole school to take part! Students can also participate in the papers of grades that are older than theirs.
