Successful Arrest – Cable Theft, Colleen Glen
📅 4 November 2025
Early tonight, a vigilant resident spotted a suspect cutting down a Telkom pole. The resident immediately intervened and managed to apprehend the suspect before calling for assistance from our Armed Response Officer.
Farmcomm was also activated and responded alongside our Armed Response team. The suspect was handed over to SAPS and the Telkom investigator was on scene to open a case with the police.
A big thank you to everyone involved, from the alert resident, our responding teams, Kabega SAPS members, Telkom investigation officer and Farmcomm!
Remember, today it’s a Telkom cable, tomorrow it could be your gate motor, plumbing, or electrical cables.
