Scripture Union Algoa

The Practical Leadership Programme is intended for 16 to 23-year-olds who are connected to the Scripture Union network in Gqeberha, would like to develop real-world-useful leadership skills, and serve as a leader within SU Algoa activities.

This year's PLP will be in the form of a 3-day/2-night camp from Tuesday , 29 September to Thursday, 1st October 2026 at Camp Rhino - Wefakawe Road - near the N2 close to The Windfarm petrol station. (We will however start somewhere along Kragga Kamma Road with an 'Amazing Race' type activity) The programme will comprise a series of workshops and activities that will help you to develop useful foundational leadership skills, that you can apply in your own environment to lead yourself and others.

The cost is just R300 per person but you will need to bring your own braai pack for the first night's meal.

The excitement is building around our Annual Girls Camp 2026!
This year, we are heading to beautiful Cape Town, where we plan to bring together 30 girls from the Eastern Cape and 30 girls from the Western Cape for an unforgettable experience of growth, encouragement, learning, and fun.
Our goal is to invest in these young ladies and help them grow spiritually, emotionally, socially, and as future leaders.
