Our Story
Chemical Process Technologies (CPT) is an innovative chemical synthesis company. We pride ourselves in our capacity and ability to develop and commercialize competitive organic synthesis routes.
The company synthesises several fine chemicals and formulates numerous end user products. CPT is a major supplier of formulated animal health products. In addition, the company also supplies intermediates to the pharmaceutical industry and fine chemicals to various other industries. The combined capacity to synthesise and formulate products positions CPT uniquely, in the Southern African context, to supply quality formulated products which could be backward integrated to include the manufacturing of the active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs).
The company is exporting various products to more than 15 countries in Europe, North and South America, Africa and Asia.
CPT is located in Waltloo, Pretoria, South Africa on an 10,000-square meter industrial site. We have 70 permanent employees and manufacturing is done according to Good Manufacture Practice (GMP) quality norms.
