How to get into management's inner circle on your mine
The inner circle isn't entered through politics or luck. It's entered through consistent, intentional actions:

Action 1: Request a monthly 1-on-1 with your section manager
Not to complain. To update. To seek input. To show you're invested beyond your shift.

Action 2: Bring one business idea per month
"I've been thinking about how we could improve [process]. Can I walk you through it?" Leaders who think beyond their job description get included in planning conversations.

Action 3: Be visible during senior visits
When VIPs tour the mine, your team's area should be ready, safe, and your team briefed. Management notices which team leaders prepare for important moments.

Action 4: Advocate for your team members upward
"I'd like to nominate [team member] for the supervisory development programme." Management respects leaders who develop their people.
