Gas regs don't stop at the wall. Here's what needs to be in place for a safe, compliant internal installation:
🔌 Isolation switch + plug points need to be at least 200mm from your burner (or 1500mm up, if you've got a cooker hood)

🚫 No plugs or switches in the cupboard housing your gas bottle

💨 That cupboard needs proper ventilation

🚫 And no fixed gas installations in garages, ever
