Today Access Chapter 2 monitored a matter involving a young woman who was allegedly r***d by a police official. The matter was postponed to 5 August 2026 after the defence requested the court transcripts from the previous proceedings. The defence is required to pay the prescribed fee before the transcripts can be provided by the court. The matter will resume once the transcripts have been obtained.

Access Chapter 2 is creating a safe space for learning, dialogue, and collective action as we bring together communities and stakeholders to advance health equity, legal empowerment, and the rights of key and vulnerable populations.

This Advocacy Dialogue will explore practical information on HIV prevention, Long-Acting PrEP (LaPrEP), SOGIESC, and community legal rights equipping participants with knowledge to make informed decisions and advocate for themselves and others.

Together, we're amplifying voices, challenging barriers, and strengthening access to essential services.
