Today, the 5th of February, the 2024 Mining Indaba kicks off in Cape Town.



The global mining industry had a difficult 2023 and locally, we saw announcements of rightsizing and even closures of some shafts.



The future of this important industry cannot be understated. Locally, almost half a million direct jobs come from this industry alone and there are very few industries that are excluded from sub-contracted work in some form from the mining industry.



We look forward to the content of the deliberations and the important resolutions that will come out of this year’s Mining Indaba.
