Friends, Romans and Countrymen, lend me your ears -

McGregor Backpackers is pleased and thrilled to announce that on the 9th January 2015 at 8pm, we will be hosting guitarist, singer and musician extraordinaire TONY COX in a one off concert right here in our courtyard.

We would love all our facebook friends to pencil this into their diaries. We cannot think of a better and more uplifting way to start the New Year.

Accommodation at the backpackers will be in demand so get your booking in early to secure your front row seat.

Another wine on the river festival sailed downstream. I must admit there was definitely a buzz in town with everyone stocking up and getting settled into the valley. Unfortunately we were not able to go to the festivities but the crowd at the backpackers seemed to really have enjoyed it. I look forward to next year and then it will be my turn to stumble home drunk as a coot...
