Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana delivered the 2025 Medium-Term Budget Policy Statement (MTBPS) on 12 November 2025. His address focused on strengthening South Africa’s economy and ensuring long-term fiscal stability.

📉 The budget deficit narrowed from 4.5% of GDP in 2025/26 to a projected 2.7% by 2028/29.
