ANC WARD 27

*67 Minutes for Mandela Day* 💙🖤💛💚❤️

Led by our _ANC Ward 27 Councillor Candidate, Cde Fanie Laka_, we dedicated our 67 minutes to making a difference.

We cleaned the yard of an _mdala_ in _Cuba Section, Skirilek_ who is old and living alone.
We also donated and fitted _10 window panes_ for houses with broken windows. Several families will benefit from this.

Every small act of kindness helps build a cleaner, healthier, and more caring community.

Together we honour the legacy of Nelson Mandela by turning compassion into action ✊

This is the beginning of a movement that will make our community a better place 💚
A lot will be said, but doing what is right is our main focus.

Just doing what we can to make sure every household gets proper water 🚰

All five (5) high-mast lights in Cuba Section are now fully operational. In addition, one (1) high-mast light at Vula Section, near Chillers Corner, is also functioning.

We extend our appreciation to the ANC Volunteers and our Beloved Veteran for their continued support in advancing service delivery in the ward.

On Saturday, 13 June 2026, ANC Ward 27 conducted a Cleaning Campaign and Voter Registration Walk in Lethabong. The purpose of the walk was to engage directly with residents, provide assistance to eligible voters with registration, and ensure community preparedness for participation in the democratic process. As part of the service delivery component, Ward 27 undertook the cleaning and clearing of the netball court, cutting of grass in public areas, and patching of potholes on identified roads.

Service delivery remained the primary priority of the Ward throughout the programme. Ward leadership called upon all youth of Lethabong to participate, raise their concerns, and utilize the opportunity to register to vote.

Residents responded positively and engaged constructively with leadership during the programme. The campaign successfully promoted civic participation while addressing immediate service delivery needs within Ward 27. The Ward remains committed to ongoing community engagement and responsive service delivery. Your voice matters 🖤💚💛

The ANC extends its appreciation to *New Revelation Ministries Church* for the warmly invitation today. We had seek wisdom in the eyes of the Lord, and we invite the Lord into everything we do.

Yesterday we held a successful BGM. The ANC would like to thank its members for their support during the BGM. The collaboration between the ANC and volunteers continues to strengthen the community outreach efforts and encourages, community residents are urged to register to vote in the upcoming elections 4th November 2026💯💯
