With guests, treats, and open gates, Easter can be risky for pets—stay alert this weekend 👇

🛑 Watch the Food
• Chocolate = toxic
• Xylitol (sugar-free sweets) = deadly
• Hot cross buns (raisins) = kidney failure risk
• Cooked bones = dangerous splinters
• Easter grass = blockage risk (cats)

🏠 Prevent Escapes
• Ask guests to keep gates/doors closed
• Use a “pets inside” sign
• Set up a safe, quiet room if needed

🏷️ ID Matters
• Collar + tag on
• Microchip details up to date
• Keep a recent photo of your pet

🐾 Safer Fun
• Dogs: treat hunts & enrichment toys
• Cats: boxes, toys, catnip
