Wow, what a fun little car this is. Small in size, but absolutely massive in personality. It’s sharp, nimble, and ridiculously entertaining to drive. What makes it even more special is what it represents. When this car launched in 2021, it arrived with the world’s most powerful production three-cylinder engine. That alone is enough to turn heads, but this wasn’t built just to chase numbers. Toyota developed it to meet World Rally Championship homologation requirements, which means this is a genuine rally-bred machine for the road. That’s not marketing fluff, that’s the real deal.

To make things even better, Toyota released these in extremely limited numbers. Between the GR Yaris and its Rally sibling, only 190 units were allocated to South Africa in that first batch.
