Broadband Infraco participated in “Powering Gauteng’s Youth Economy through Digital Jobs, AI, Deep Tech and Inclusive Innovation”, held at Sebokeng today.
This initiative reflects the Department of Communications and Digital Technologies (DCDT) as a national catalyst advancing digital inclusion, AI readiness, and youth participation in South Africa’s digital economy.
Convened under the theme “Powering Gauteng’s Youth Economy through Digital Jobs, Deep Tech, AI, Enterprise Development and Inclusive Innovation,” the initiative is designed as a national digital workforce activation engine converting youth potential into measurable participation in the digital economy.
On 29 January 2026, we hosted a Parliamentary Portfolio Committee oversight visit at our offices.
The engagement provided an opportunity to reflect our mandate, showcase progress made and reaffirm our commitment to strengthening broadband infrastructure that enables connectivity and inclusive digital growth across South Africa.
