South African ultramarathon star Gerda Steyn claimed victory in the women’s race at the 2026 Comrades Marathon, securing a historic fifth title overall and a fourth consecutive win.

Steyn dominated the 85.777km Up Run from Durban to Pietermaritzburg, crossing the finish line in an outstanding time.
